La congiunzione manico corpo set neck rende le chitarre Bobcat di VOX facili da suonare anche sui tasi più alti. Il ponte Tune-o-matic fisso consente un'angolazione del manico ottimale migliorando significativamente la suonabilità rispetto al modello originale. La struttura del corpo semi-hollow utilizza un blocco centrale leggero che aumenta il sustain e risulta resistente al feedback anche a livelli di volume elevati. Il modello Bobcat V90 è dotato di pickup soapbar.
